South is a direction that suggests, at least for people from middle or northern Europe, a romantic idea of summer, sun, sea, pleasure, citurs fruits,... In this sculptural work a woman emerging from winter is looking for the direction in herself.

 

Der Süden ist eine Himmelsrichtung, die, wenigstens in der Mitte und im Norden Europas eine romantische Vorstellung suggeriert, von blauem Himmel, Zitronen, Meer, Sonne. In dieser Arbeit macht sich eine Frau, aus dem Winter kommend, auf die Suche nach der Himmelsrichtung in sich selbst.
